We all know there're only two more episodes to end the drama, and then we'll have the Special the week after on June 26th.
As of Episode 9, we've seen how Sousuke getting all jealous about Takeru being too close with Michiru. Therefore he ambushed him and attacked him during his weakest state where he couldn't defend himself. and then we see how Michiru feeling all guilty for causing the attack as she told Sousuke that she'd found someone else she loved. Thus leading to the attack.
But then Ruka consoled her and made it even clearer this time that she'd do whatever it takes to protect her from Sousuke's psycho attempts. * well, maybe this could be your only mistake, Ruka...being too attached to Michiru aka. your best friend who knows NUTS about you, sadly * End of the episode, we see Sousuke attacking Ruka after she told him the ONE THING he had dreaded for so long which pissed him off, thus triggering the fight.
Now, *spoilers* but i don't care anymore...seriously, up to this point, i don't actually give a damn anymore on who died or how. Coz to me, if Sousuke died in the end, whether he was killed brutally or maybe from an accident, then it'd be too predictable coz bad guys always ended up being the guilty ones and paid for their wrongdoings, right? It's karma. Yes, i believe in karma.
But if it's Ruka or Takeru who died, maybe initially i'd have bawled my tears out coz they're my fav characters. And i'd have been emo from it. But then come to think of it, IF the writers decided to make one of them dead, then i'll sit back and watch the process. In fact, i think it'd be really AWESOME if one of them really died. That'd make this drama so incredibly MORE AMAZING for having such characters. their characters would SHINE. YES, indeed i really hope one of them died for the sake of the other, like maybe in Ruka's case, getting killed for saving Michiru or Takeru...from Sousuke. Or Takeru confronting Sousuke for Ruka. either way, it'd be MEMORABLE.
The WEAK POINT of this drama is the fact that they FOCUSSED TOO MUCH on Domestic Violence which imo, isn't THAT MUCH INTERESTING of a PLOT to start with, especially having Masami Nagasawa as the lead, seriously, she's just NOT in the whole thing imo. I can't see how she really fit in. Yes, she's pretty, she's beautiful, she's got this whole SMILY FACE PLASTERED ALL OVER HER FAIR FACE...but like, THAT's IT! you know...like that's all she can do, She can't act for real, face it. and giving her such a WEAK ROLE is just too sad for her. i think by now, you'd have guessed that i have this thing against her.
Character development is also pretty weak here, as we see how LITTLE they touch on Takeru and Eri's problems, they only scratched the surface! by giving us little clues here and there but that's not enough! they just paid too much attention on the whole DV thing! And giving Michiru WAY TOO MUCH SCREENTIME which i think is a bit annoying at times when all she does is just acting scared, or if not, just smile. It's annoying. I liked Sousuke more than her character seriously. I'd hoped that Sousuke would one day, accidently killed her or sth...but we know Ruka will be devastated at that point. Michiru should never have even lived in this world. She's useless. I've never seen such a useless good-for-nothing character before. and a LEAD for that! I find Eri a much better actress than she is. jeez...
now to how i'd want it to end as...
I'd love to see that after Michiru found out about the attack on Ruka, she went to confront Sousuke about it * as we've seen in the trailer for ep10* she gave him a slap. But we know that Sousuke would not take it that easily, seeing how far he'd gone to sustain her. I'd want Michiru to be raped by Sousuke against her will... thus causing her pregnancy which we see in ep1. Then, she goes back wagging her pathetic tail and Ruka finds out, maybe she planned on killing Sousuke or sth. Then, yeah, another confrontation which will be bitter, much much bitter than the one in ep9, and maybe Ruka was just about to get killed by Sousuke and Takeru stepped in, saving Ruka just in time. Yeah...that'd be nice. Sousuke ended up in jail. Takeru died for Ruka. Ruka feels guilty, Michiru feels guilty too for causing Takeru's death and so she escaped to some fishing village we see in ep1. Thing is, by the look of it, Ruka can't be the one who died. Coz Michiru was writing a letter to her, before she tore it off and tossed it into the bin. So Ruka can't be the one who died. But there's possibility for Takeru, Sousuke and even Eri at this point.
oh IF Eri died, it'd be a SMACK in the face for me...that'd be a shell-shocker. and we know japanese series can be pretty shocking at some points.
But i'd be even happier if Michiru died. although we know that's not gonna happen. Sigh...T.T
but overall, this series is entertaining for the fact that it's filled with *star-studded casts* for me, that is, except for Masami Nagasawa whose character seemed to SPOIL everything. Even i find Ryo Nishikido doing a god job as a villain this time. Coz i'd never look at him the same way anymore for what he'd done in there. What i'd want to see in the future is for Masami Nagasawa to play an antagonist next. If she can convince me in a bad girl role, then i'll re-consider her skillz in acting. Otherwise, she's just a pretty face for me.

the happy ending for these two. This is BEYOND SWEETNESS.....this is beyond LOVE. This is beyond any kind of relationship there is. *i'm exaggerating here but who the hell cares when you get to see these two sleeping soundly, facing each other, one arm on the other, snuggling up in the tent cozily....Before i rant, i better end this post. I'll rant more later, when i get the subs and understand everything.
Oh and this...this really cracks me up when my sister pointed it out to me, when we were at the high-speed train station to ride to somewhere else.
