sleepless nights/ PISSED

my industrial training is about to end. TWO more days to go and it's back to uni and the classes. Can't say that I'm happy. I didn't have any holidays at all this semester. It's a THREE semesters straight without a rest. I'm having sleepless nights, although I admit that even in college, I seldom have good sleep and rest, and truthfully, I'm getting used to that lifestyle but i sure miss home now. it's been months. and i think this is the longest period that I didn't get to go home.

I'm basically trying to finish up my report. This Friday, I'm gonna pass up a copy to HKL while the other copy will be edited again before being handed up to our university for evaluation. I don't even want to think of our presentation yet which will come 2 weeks after uni starts.

Right now, I just want these last two days in HKL to go smoothly without any complications and then the move back to hostel. And i guess I need to get used to hostel life again.

Before ending this post, since I mentioned COMPLICATIONS, let's just say that today indeed we got commented again by this fella who is seldom seen around our unit but from time to time decided to pop himself out and start complaining bout people. These are the kinds of people that I hate the most really, especially when that someone isn't there to see us work hard and helped around in the sections and then suddenly just stated how not 'hardworking' we are.

Let me tell you how it happened. Today as usual, it's about 5pm, so we packed and got outside to the counter to punch our cards. The machine showed 4.58pm. Fine, i mean, it's onlu 2 mins difference and so we waited till it reached 5pm. And just when it did, that fella appeared out of nowhere and saw us standing around the machine. He then mentioned stuffs like ' macam tidak berminat kerja saja'.

Like OMG, you want us to stay around till after 5pm when VIRTUALLY ALMOST ALL THE STAFFS HAVE DISAPPEARED?! What job there is left for us to do? We LITERALLY SPENT MORE THAN HALF THE DAYS STARING INTO SPACE! Oh for God's sake, like you didn't know already how your 'people' works in governmen sectors? You know what....I'm not being racist, I know there are some that are really responsible and hardworking. But maybe he's just blind to see that. Look at those 'malay trainees' always going out for breakfast and tea breaks while even if the kakaks asks us to go have our meals, we STAYED PUT till it's 1pm for lunch. What's with that? Coz we don't want to break the rules.

I totally ignored HIM when he commented on us. You know it's like we're here for training and gaining experience and we sure helped A LOT but for someone like HIM who isn't around to WITNESS THAT PART OF US, and then INSULTED US like that, it's an understatement if I say I'm not angered. My friends were all annoyed of coz.

I totally hate people who has a little position and acted like they're HUGE or sth. the same goes with those Datuks and Datins. Those kakaks and abangs in the sections are so so much nicer to work with and they're so kind to us. Those at the top are totally opposite.

I find some truth in one of my friend's comments about how even if we worked our ASS OFF in the government sector or basically just UNDER THEM, we'd NEVER get the kind of reputation we deserve. WHY? the answer's clear as crystal, so let's not waste time explaining that. I'm PISSED. Everything is about them. EVERYTHING. What's with a 3 pointer in STPM getting a MEDIC COURSE? Honestly, it was never fair in the first place, I felt like spitting "DON'T JUDGE US WHEN YOU DON'T KNOW NOTHING ABOUT US" right into that guy's face. When the reality is like that, they don't have the RIGHT to even JUDGE US. I bet he's just jealous seeing us a group of Chinese trainees.
