My friend's wallet was stolen probably this morning or last night after dinner. The actual time was unknown but it was definitely scary coz this morning we went to lab together to see our culture. And then, around maybe almost 10am, we came out. See, we put our things outside the lab where there are seats and tables. And come to think of it, I really SHOULD HAVE NOT DONE such a careless move. (Though the victim in this case isn't me) Still, I mean, what if that person followed her to the lab and then stole it when we were in the lab.
My bag was just opposite hers. Anyway, so she quickly phoned the bank to check her accounts. Apparently all her $$ were withdrawn. And from the ATM in Zaba some more. Our college. I think it must be someone from our college, who marked her, followed her, and then saw her passwords when she went to take $$ or sth....
Yes, I'm having all sorts of criminal tactics in my mind now. Must be the whole investigation series that I watched.
Anyways, DO NOT USE your IC NO or Birthdates for password la....it'll be too easy right? Yes, easy to remember of course. But also easy for *people* to guess.
She's gonna have to re-apply her IC, driving license, bank cards...etc. and I think I should keep to the rule that only keep little $$ in the accounts lol...
yeah, that's one of the highlights for today. Although not a pleasant one, but it definitely made me more careful with my belongings now.

the good thing though is that my atm numbers are all impossible.
you can keep your important cards like ID, driver's license, ATM etc in a cardholder chained to a long necklace. therefor you'll never abanson it when out and abaout cause it's around your neck, under your clothes.

must be pretty frightening huh? T_T I mean, even with this case, i was like thinking " damn...that was friggin close!" I mean, if it really happened during the short period of time when we went into the lab, then mine would've been an easy target too, coz it was there!

Er, I'd attach the necklace to my jeans rather than my neck, i think they'd try to pull it, and in turn you might asphyxiate....which would be pretty traumatizing.
Hmm cover the keypad when you're doing transactions at the atm maybe. And look around to see if there's anything suspicious!
i keep mine on a long necklace. when i wear the necklace, i just keep it under my clothes.
yeah it may cause me to choke if someone pulled it off. but come to think of it, if i were a junkie in need of money, i'd rather steal rom a bag or pocket. neck would be too difficult to target.
besides guys go crazy trying to figure out what's at the bottom of my necklace since it's hidden. and thet always give me a curious look. Awesome! =D
